Painting, Pondering, and Praying

Hola!
Well this was a really good week. We were able to find 3 new people to teach and we had some really good contacts! This week we also had intercambios. I went to Almendroso for a day which was fun it is in the city of Santa Cruz. It was a really good day and I was able to learn a lot. This week we had some service as well, we painted the house of one of our investigators. We painted it white. This week I have been thinking a lot about the branch I’m in. I thought a lot about some of the things that are happening, and then I started thinking about what I need to do to help them. I decided what I need to do is change, so I started reading about various topics. At this point I had read for more than 2 hours about pride. A few months ago, I talked about a talk by Elder Ezra Taft Benson about being aware of pride. Read it. Ponder it. Pray to know how you can change, and then change. Pride leads to contention, and contenion makes us not have the spirit. We need to have the spirit with us. So, that is kind of what I have been pondering a lot this week. This week I was able to give a talk on prayer. I can’t tell you how important it is to not only pray, but to also pray with faith. Sorry I don’t have that many pictures this week but I do have a scripture! This week I want to share with you, Ether 12 27 and Proverbs 3 12 (or its Proverbs 10 3) I’m sorry I forgot to write it down. You’ll know it when you read it, have a great week!!!
