Hola!
This
week was super great! I got my comp and she is from Mexico!!! Which is sweet,
but the words here are a lot different than they are in Mexico. So, the first
couple of days here she didn’t understand a lot... but shes understanding more
now which is awesome. I really love training, it gives me time to think about
the begining of my mission and how far I have come. More importantly, how much
my testimony has grown! I was thinking about that this morning, I know it
wouldn’t have grown like this if I decided not to serve a mission. If there is
anyone out there doubting whether or not to go, just go. Put your faith in the
lord and go. You will not regret it, I promise that. This week I have also been
teaching my comp to ride a bike, someone this week told me a funny quote. Apparently
when the gringos come here they pray for the gift of tongues, but when Latinos
come they pray to ride a bike. I thought that was super funny. Needless to say,
I love the mission, I love being here, and I love teaching! My scripture this
week is Mosiah 29 20, thanks for all your support!!!
