September 18th, IndepenDANCE Day in Chile

Hola!

Wow what a super interesting week! I had my first September 18th, Chile knows how to party! Haha, we weren’t allowed to go and be proselyting on Sunday at all. Monday all the shops were closed, so we weren’t allowed to email. Also on Saturday we had to go inside early because apparently it’s like a 3-day party haha. I am knitting a scarf in my free time and as a missionary I don’t have much time, so its gonna take me awhile haha we had a meeting with Elder Packer this week which was so cool and spiritual. We got to shake his hand and after that the spirit was crazy strong! We had a ward activity on Saturday it was so much fun, I love my ward so much! I really hope I don’t get moved at transfers, I can’t believe it’s in less than 2 weeks! Time flies...  we also got to go to a fair for p day, I bought somethings for the family to give for when I come home. Things here are so cool haha, oh I also got a haircut! A missionary cut it for me, I don’t know how I feel about it. One day this week when I was walking home from a meeting with my comp, this one guy just slammed his shoulder into mine and it really hurt.. I don’t know why he did it because there was like 2.5 feet on the side walk next to me... but it’s ok. This week during my studies I realized how many promises are in the book of Mormon for us, it’s so amazing! One scripture I really liked was D&C 104 82, it’s a super good one. I love and miss you all!
