Last email while on my mission

Hola!! 

Well this was a good week I have survived!! We had another week of 4 intercambios. It was good we have been working a lot with the hermanas in our mission and we have seen a lot of changes in them and thats great. We won't be having any intercambios this week so it'll be good.  Im excited because my comp and I can just work in our sector.  This week we taught a lesson with one of our investigators. He wants to be baptized but he feels like he cant stop believing in the virgin. So we explained to him a lot of things. I shared with him 2 Nephi 31:21 and 3 Nephi 15:9.  It was a good lesson that we had with him I really love him he came to church.  He is about 50 years old but he has a really big desire to continue learning.  We gave him the bible also so he can continue studying.  He wanted to learn about the bible.  Also sorry I don't have that much time and sorry no pics. I don't have time to send them but its ok.  Also the scriptures I sent with are my scriptures for the week because I love them both. Specially 3 Nephi 15:9 have a great week! 

Hard work Pays off

Those are the pics from a few of our intercambios and lessons with a few investigators, We had a great week here. I am excited for this upcoming week. We have planned a lesson with 3 of our investigators and one of the elders because they are all great friends and almost are the same age.  It's great because they are supporting one and other especially because one of ours investigators and one of the elders investigators are trying to overcome an addiction. One thing I have learned is the importance to support the people in church it doesn't matter if they are investigators members or less actives but we always need to support them and help them feel loved. Iwas reading in preach my gospel about that. One thing my comp and I have been focusing a lot on this week is that we are talking to every one literally everyone haha.  We are finding a lot of people to teach. Also one of the miracles of this change is we found someone his name is Guillermo and wow we taught him this week the word of wisdom and he gave us everything and asked us to throw it away so we did and we made a plan and he is trying to stop smoking. So if you want to include him in your prayers please do. This week we also have 4 intercambios it should be a good week!! hm what else idk haha its getting super hot here haha but have a great week. 

Fasting for answers

Well I forgot my camera in my house sorry so no pics this week ill try for next week! 

This week was a very long week!!! Well not too long just very busy.  We had interviews on monday and a lot of intercambios. We had 3 and for the next 2 weeks we will be having 4 each week. We have had a few meetings as well. There’s alot happening but its ok because we are still finding time to look for people to teach.  This week we had 2 of our investigators fast for answers which was really cool so we did a little group fast and one of them got his answer!!  He just is afraid of not having support from his family.  We are thinking about reading 1 Nephi 17 with him. It’s a chapter I have come to love. But as a scritpure this week I picked Alma 32 :27 because this entire chapter really helped me in my studies.  I was on the bus going to a different part of the mission for intercambios and I decided to read it and it was honestly just what I needed.  That’s one thing I have loved seeing in my mission.  We always read what we need to not just us though but our investigators as well!!  Sorry I didn’t have too much time, have a great week though!

Elder Bragg

This week was a good week we had our meeting with Elder Bragg from the 70 it was a really great meeting we learned a lot. Then we all ate lunch and half of the mission got food poisoning! It was not good I was part of that half unfortunately.. But I have a great comp and when I was up throwing up the entire night she was up with me. Also today we have interviews this week which i'm excited about. Sorry its such a short letter haha I don't have that much time but we are excited for this week to come and work and we will be having two intercambios this week which will be good! have a good week and oh I was reading in Doctrine and Covenants 31 and I like verse 13 I think it was 31 where it talks about missionary work I like it because in the section you can see all of the promises as missionaries we are entitled to as we are doing our best to keep and follow the rules! have a great week.

Fasting

Well I just tried sending  a lot of pics but it didn't work so i'll only be sending a few haha. So this was a really good week we are going to do a fast with one of our investigators because he is just waiting for his answer. So we taught him about what is fasting and why we fast and he is super excited so of course we are too!! Also one of our other investigators completley changed this week when we taught about the atonement of Jesus Christ it was a really cool thing to see. Sorry im short on time and also we taught a little bit about perdon this week and why its important and that its hard to do but life changing when we do it. I like doctrine and covenants 64:8-11 also this week elder bragg and his wife are coming and also we have interviews next Monday, thats a change I love in the mission that we get an interview with our President every change!

Short on Time

Well this was a great week!!!! We had some great lessons, one thing my comp and I are trying to do is focus more on the spirit and be guided more by him because we have a wonderful promise that we can be guided in every moment Doctrine and Covenants 28:15-16.  Also we had a great lesson with one of our investigators Nicole she is great and told us this week she likes going to church and we are excited for that. This week through the scripture I wanted to share is in 3 Nephi 11:1-6 because its one I really like because i have been studying those scriptures for a little while. This week we got changes and ill be with Hermana Ramirez from mexico she has 9 months in the mission and i'm pumped to be with her I lived with her 2 changes ago when i was in San Fernando. So i'm super excited!!! Also I have been in a trio since Friday and ill be in one for a few more days I was told this morning haha so that will be fun! sorry i'm short on time have a great week! 

What a week!

WOW WHAT A WEEK I literally had an amazing experience this week with one of my investigators and my companion so we are teaching someone and he has been investigating the church for about 6 years kinda different my sister and i we just went to church for about 5 years before our baptism but he has a few fears about getting baptized so we went and shared with him and i felt the strongest impression to share my testimony about the fears that i had before my baptism with him and it was just so specially for me because i love Juan he is 50 years old but is just so amazing. it was really specially for my because i was able to think a lot about my baptism and how i have changed before and after my mission and how i have changed since i have started my mission. i think the part most important of all of this is that i couldn't have done any of it with out my savior and thats the part i'm the most grateful for t hat in my mission i have truly come to know him and i still have so much to learn but one thing i have learned is that he has gone through everything i have gone through and he knows best how to help me but also everyone else he personally knows how to help us and thats what made the lesson so specially that he could realize that Juan. so thats what my scripture is about this week alma 26 12 13

Also this week we had something called a cosechon we all went to a sector and just contacted for the entire day it's something we do in our mission I think other missions do it to. but it was a really neat experience because the spirit guided each one of us to find people waiting for the gospel it honestly doesn't matter where we are we can all help people. it was super cool 

Also this week we have changes i cant believe it! i'm excited to see what will happen as always i really love my comp id love to be with her again we get along great!  have a great week! 

General Conference

This week was a good week since we had GENERAL CONFERENCE!!!!!!!! I really loved a lot of the talks it was really good!!!!! It rained this week which was interesting because I thought it was going to start being summer but the weather here is really crazy. I am very sunburnt though haha. However exciting news is that our investigator is doing really well he is progressing a lot and really excited for his baptism in two weeks. Feel free to keep him in your prayers!  This week we have 2 more intercambioss and then I think 1 more and then will be in a trio for 5 days haha which will be fun because when we are in trios we can enter in whatever house we want!  Sorry not sure if my keyboard is bad or just my spelling haha but this week I was reading about a lot of things but one part of the bible that really called my attention was in 1 cor 12 12-27 where it talks about us as members where each one of us is important and we all have a function but sometimes we don't feel like that. have a great week though! 

Busy Week

wow what a week!!!!

This week we had 4 intercambios and had to go to buin a different city in the mission for changes it was a great week one day we slept on the floor because there wasn't beds haha but its ok! The next night we slept really well. This week we weren't really in our sector because we had so many changes but we still saw miracles!!! For example yesterday my comp and I were walking to and from appointments and we saw two people who were just sitting in the grass so we went up to them and just sat with them haha and started talking they are 19 and 20 years old like us and we taught them the plan of salvation which was great! also we had 5 investigators come to church so we are super happy! because thats the part that is the hardest to get people to come to church. we have been praying alot and every Sunday int he morning we go to get a grandma and she always forgets but she was up and ready!! so that was amazing this week i'm pumped because we have general conference and zone conference also 2 intercambios so it will be a busy week! but a great one!!! i finally have pics to show as well! my scripture this week is Joshua 1 9 i chose it because my comp and i decided to memorize it this week and its one I really love. No Time for a Blog

Sorry actually no time for a blog. I had a great week. I had interviews with President Harris and loved it.  We had 3 intercambios and have 4 this week but its ok it's part of my new calling.  I wont be in my sector from Tuesday till Friday night but we still manage to teach our investigator together we are teaching someone who is really great his name is Juan.  I'll tell you more about him next week.  Have a great week.  My scripture is Doctrine & Covenants 82:10.  Sorry it's so short. 

Back in Rancagua

Well this was a good week!! I absolutely love my new comp she goes home when i do and i have known her my entire mission basically we always have wanted to be comps  but we are both about to end next change so we didnt think wed be but we are comps so its great!!! im back in rancagua and it feels so weird i started my mission here and i loved it and i love being back!!! espcailly because i didnt think id finish here!!! we have interviews this week and im pumped i love them its a great time for us as missionaries!! my scritpure this week is in the new testamnet in john 14:6 its a verse very easy to understand which is something i lovebecause the gospel is easy to understand when we study and pray and learn. sorry i forgot my camera at home... ill have pics next week hopefully!! this weekstarts all of our intercambios... we have so many planned this change atleast 3 everyweek i believe except one and then there is genral conference which im puimped about so many things to do!! sorry this week my email is all over the place aha but needless to say it was a great week i love my sector and my comp and my new calling and most of all the mission so its ok!!! have a great week! 

True Church

well this week was AMAZING  we were able to see our investigator baptized and confirmed sorry i just tried sending pics but this computer doest have the thing to send them or i just cant find it not sure which... but its ok next week because we also got changes and i have been called to rancagua im going to be an hermana leader for the hermana leaders im beyond nervous and need your prayers so please feel free to pray for me. however this week i have just felt and noticed the spirit so much it was amazing id like to share so many experince but there isnt enough time. however id like to share some thoughts! so this week i was teaching with my comp and we were teaching a young mom and the spirit just guided us in every step we had something else planned but things sometimes happen and we have to change plans but thats ok and i was giving my testimony ande for me in the moment it was amazing as missionaries we are able to share our tesitmony every day but there was some thing different about it i just didn't believe what i was saying was true i knew it i had not a single doubt and to me that was amazing because 3 years ago well.. i had alot of doubts and i was very very confused but i wasnt confused im not confused i know that the church of jesus christ of latter day saints is the true church of jesus christ that we can know if the bookj of momron is true that we have a heavnely father who knows us and loves us more than we can imaigne we just need to look for him and the çway we can do that is through sincfere pray. i give thanks every day for the opportunity that i have to be here in the mission to shaer this amazing gospel with my chilean brothers and sister and i love it. i truyl love it there is nothing better thanbeing a missionary!  Also as i was talking early about the spirit thati picked a scritpure aboupt the spirit and guidance very wellñ known but its a gereat opne its in mporoni 7:16 and 17. i hope you all have a great week again sorry about thepics i promise there will be more to come!!!

Atonement

Wow what a week!! This week we had zone conference and I cant believe it, it was AMAZING.  We talked about christlike attributes and the atonement and wow I had a huge change of view on the Atonement.  Im trying to understand it better as well and so if anyone has any talks on the atonement or anything please send it my way.  I love reading it this last week I read an amazing talk on it from 1985 and i loved it.  It's amazing that we are so blessed to use the atonement but we have to choose to use it its avaliable to everyone but not a lot of people understand it and use it. This week I learned a lot about it and agency because wow a lot of things happened this week and well it was hard but this week will be better. A scripture I loved is 2 Nephi 10:23  also I think it was helaman 14:30-31 they are two scriptures on agency. This week i was thinking a lot about how loved we are we have so many things here on this earth and it's because we are loved. I invite you all to take some time and think about that how you are loved and the blessings you have in your life. Sorry no pics this week the ciber doesn't have a place for them also our investigator is being baptized this week and we are very excited for him.  Please continue praying for him.  Thanks for your support have a great week!

Change and Trio

Well this was a crazy week!! haha I think all the weeks in the mission are a little crazy. However it was a great week as well. One of our investigators started living the word of wisdom, we found a family to teach and our investigator is so beyond thrilled to be baptized.  I was thinking a lot this week how we are changed, the lord truly loves us and thats why he wants us to change and will help us in the process.  Its amazing because as missionaries we get to see this amazing change in peoples lives.  Sorry i don't have pics because my computer does not have a slot this week.  We also have zone conference and i'm pumped about that its a day i love so much!!  We will be learning about the atonement and about christlike attributes!!  It should be really amazing also this week I chose the scripture in the old testament isaiah 65:24 it was one I really liked. And I hope you all enjoy it as well!!!  I think thats it for this week, oh I will also be in a trio for a few days in the upcoming weeks should be fun because we will be able to enter into any house we want!! haha perks of trios!! have a great week!

Spiritual moments

Well it has been an interesting week! I'll have pics next week I promise. Sorry I have never been good with pics but this week was very well interesting, although we were able to see miracles we were able to find 7 new people to teach woohoo!!! Also we had intercambios this week, we will have 2 more which should be fun.  Oh wow something amazing that happened this week, here the kids don't really go to mutual and well its something that is really good and helps us so the elders and us im not sure if thats gramatically correct but you understand, we planned it and it was focused on the missionary work and it WAS SO SPIRITUAL everyone loved it we had 12 kids come. It was amazing and we planned activities for them to contact and do things that we do as missionaries it was super cool and i think that was the highlight of my week.  I invite all the youth to go with the missionaries they need your help and you will learn as well!!  Also this week I was thinking a lot about one of my investigators, She's afraid of going back to church.  She had a bad experience so I liked this scripture alma 34:32 because we need to remember why we are here and yes there are so many challenges but with the help of the atonement of Jesus Christ in our lives we are able to overcome every single one of them. So I challenge you to help someone with a problem and teach them about prayer and how it can help them in every moment.  Sorry i'm short on time but have a great week pics to come.

Hair Cuts

Well this week was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First to start off our investigator wants to move up his date to be baptized so he will be baptized the first weekend of September. We are really happy also this week we had 3 intercambios so I had a lot of traveling haha because the sectors were far away. Also I cut a missionaries hair here some pics also of the beach from a few weeks ago. I really love being outside haha. This week though I was in a lesson and the spirit told me so strong to ask such a simple question and I asked and the lesson just changed and it was amazing. This week she came to church and we had 3 investigsaters!! It was a good week also we had service we had to clear out a field haha it was fun.   We taught a lot about the sabbath day and I found this scripture that i liked mark 2:27 because it shows how much we are loved.  hm what else we have been putting a lot of goals and we are seeing the miracles I think thats it. I love you all, thanks for always praying for me!! Have a great week, oh also this week we have interviews with president harris which will be great! 

Full of Gratitude

Well... you all might be out of luck for at least the next 5 weeks because i dont think there is an internet cafe where i can send pictures but ill look again next p day.  This week was AMAZING honestly when you just work and work and put the savior first you see miracles. I love my new sector I get along really well with all the members I have met i just feel a love for them its hard to explain. the chilenos are the best ahaha im loving being here this week we seen a lot of miracles and we are going to continue seeing them. As a sister training leader I have a lot of inter cambios I have 3 this week so i wont be in my sector to much but I know the work will still get done! This week I studied a lot about covenants and the meaning it has and the importance that we have to keep our covenants. And what happens when we break them. I picked 2 sciptures this week one is about covenants which is d&c 54 4-6 and then also d&c 62:3 because we are all blessed with the opportunity to share our testimony.  When we share our testimony not only is it strengthened but we receive a lot of blessings. The mission is the best place, I have learned a lot and this week I have been thinking a lot about my mission and I have never felt happier i'm so forever grateful for everyone who has helped me on the mission. I would have never had these experiences at home. So thank you to everyone that has helped me. This mission is the best place to get closer to Christ. I hope this email makes sense i'm not good at writing out feelings better at saying them but i hope you all understand i love the mission. have a great week! 

Dentista

Well to start out i have a lot of pics but I don't have a way to send them this week, so look for them next week! I had a good week I went to the dentist, went to 5 weeks with my comp and then came back we had an activity in my branch and a lot of less actives came and had a special Sunday for church where the president came to talk and we also found 4 new investigators! Also I went to the beach today, it was a jam packed week! We got changes I have been changed to san Fernando, my sector is guadeope (no idea how to spell it) and i'll be a hermana leader.  Im in charge of all the hermana's in 2 zones, yikes pray for me please! My comp is Hermana Barrero, she's from Argentina.  She is my 3rd comp from Argentina haha She's in my group and willl be going home with me! Also it's my 8th change being with just Latinas but i'm finally going to be living with 4 hermana's.  Its the first time since my training I don't like living alone sometimes its scary! haha i do have a pic from the dentist that my comp took so i'll be sending that... hm thanks for everything i'm excited to start another change.  Have a great week !!! 

Forgiveness

Wow talk about an incredible week to start we had 2 conferences with our mission President one Friday and Saturday. The one of Friday was a with 3 zones and we learned a lot about the plan of salvation.  On Saturday we had an activity for the young kids here in Santa Cruz so it was fun!  Also this week we were able to extend a baptismal date and our investigator accepted it!! She's really great and can see the difference with our church and the others! I gave a talk Sunday, I talked about the faith it was really good preparing for the talk i read a lot about James 2 its a really great chapter, also we had a great family home evening. 2 Families here were having some problems so we got them together and our District President had a great family home evening. We were able to teach about loving one another and the temple because one of the families are preparing to be sealed!! It was great we also talked about how we can strengthen our families and other families in our branch because we have 3 families who are assisting. It was a really great week sorry I don't have pics well I do but can't send them because this computer doesn't have a spot for my card. hm this week I was studying a lot about forgiveness because its something that is necessary but something hard to do but thanks to the atonement of Jesus Christ we are able to do it.  Matthew 6:12 was a scripture I really liked. I also read like 3 general conference talks and am always looking for more so if anyone wants to share some with me id love to read them from any year!! This week we are going to rancagua because we have 5 weeks meeting because i'm training again, I think I forgot to tell you all. Have a great week!

Time is Speeding by!

Sorry I only have one picture this week but I always say one is better than none!! This week was good we were able to have an investigator in the church and he went for all 3 hours it was great! This week we also had a lot of service because we are having a couple from the mission move to our town so we had to get their house ready! It was fun painting though I think in my mission i have painted like 10 houses or something haha i love it. We were also able to find a new investigator this week!! Also we have our zone conference this week which im pumped for I always love them so much I learn so much. I was thinking a lot this week and in church this Sunday I felt the spirit so strong and I just thought about all the blessings we get when we go and listen and learn and the spirit was very strong i'm always grateful for that. I cant believe we are in week 5 of this change! I DONT KNOW WHERE THE TIME GOES every change gets faster and faster literally! have a great week and my scripture is mosiah 8:18 

Forget yourself and work

This week was amazing. First off it wasn't too cold which was nice.  Also we were able to see a lot of miracles first to start off. I was able to change how I was thinking about my sector i'm in a hard sector but it's open for a reason so we my comp and i just stopped thinking and went to work after all that's why we are here right. This week we were just having people put in our paths constantly yesterday night my comp and i were just out going to an appointment and it fell through but it's ok because we decided to go to a different house and we were walking and out of no where we saw a member and he was talking to a girl who is 20 years old and she was crying and just really bawling i'm not going to say why she was crying but she is devistated and has a lot of hard things happening in her life right now and she's addicted to some drugs but want's to be clean so we told her we would go to her house to share a message about Jesus Christ and that she can overcome her addiction. That was just one miracle then we found another we literaly found another this week we started teaching a girl and her sister one of their names is miracle. Which is pretty cool they are really receptive and want to learn more and are really interested in the authority of the church. So we will be teaching them also we had 29 people in church this week!!!!!!!!!!!! Wooohooo miracles!! Also we had interviews with President Harris this week he is an amazing Mission President i just love him! I always learn from him. We also have some service this week and some lesson planned i'm thinking it will be a good week thanks for all of your prayers i feel them i need them and i'm very grateful for them and all of you. The lord truly works in mysterous ways. I know he exists and I know he is always listening to our prayers.  Oh I ALSO FORGOT we are teaching a young girls she's 14 years old and she does not believe in God or Jesus but we showed and taught her the restoration and that God has always extended his hand to help us and i know she felt the spirit and i know she is starting to believe that's a huge miracle.  Have a great week also i am warm!!!
